Across Australia, we provide local housing, services, and support programs that enable women and gender-diverse people to find stability and feel safe and secure, so they can progress their goals for their future.

Housing: We provide and facilitate access to safe, secure, and affordable homes
for women, gender-diverse people, and their families who are experiencing
homelessness or housing insecurity.

Tailored support: We ensure women at risk of homelessness and
housing insecurity have the right support and housing, at the right time, so
they can make progress towards the future they want for themselves.

Leading change: We provide pathways for young women and women
who have experienced insecure housing to lead change for current and future
generations.

Women, on average, are more likely to have unpaid caring responsibilities, experience
family and domestic violence, earn less in lower-paying jobs, retire with less, and have fewer assets and less wealth – all risk factors for homelessness.

To address these drivers, we need solutions (affordable housing, gender-responsive
services, systems, and policy change) that meet women’s needs. These solutions
must be built together with women with lived experience, as they are the
experts in their own lives.
